Generation Rosters
Each generation has its own exclusive pets. Some are easy to raise, some take weeks of careful feeding and cleaning. Here is a breakdown of every generation in the battle pool.
How Battles Are Decided
Care difficulty
Pets that need constant feeding, frequent cleaning, and careful attention score higher. A pet that dies if you miss two meals is tougher than one that forgives neglect.
Evolution paths
More branching evolution lines mean more ways to succeed or fail. Pets with six possible adults based on care quality score higher than those with a single fixed path.
Rarity
Secret adults, event-only variants, and Japan-exclusive pets carry a rarity bonus. A common adult with a simple path will almost never beat a rare secret character.
Tiebreakers
If two pets tie on total score, the one with the rarer evolution line wins. If still tied, the pet from the earlier generation wins, since older devices had fewer safety nets.
Common misconceptions
- Cute does not mean weak. Some of the prettiest pets have brutal care requirements. Mametchi looks friendly but demands near-perfect care.
- Hardest to raise is not always strongest. A pet that dies easily can still win if its evolution paths are complex and its adult forms are rare.
- Newer generations are not easier. Later devices added mini-games and shop systems that can make care harder, not simpler.
Edge cases
Secret pets like Mimichi and certain event-only variants are included where documented. Some ultra-rare Japan-only releases are simplified. If you want to challenge a friend on a specific matchup, use the share link to send them your exact battle.
